Forty children from P6 and P7 at South Lodge Primary sang at St Ninian’s Teas, Tales and Treats for over twenty older folk in the community.
All ages also sang carols as part of a Christingle service and shared in some wonderful goodies afterwards. As they say “a good time was had by all”.
We had over 20 older folk including 5 people who came along for the first time. The bus made it’s way round despite recent snow and ice, driven carefully by Pip Dunford, ably assisted by Ian Higgott who escorted people on and off safely.
The children sang beautifully and James explained the origins and meaning of Christingles. They all took one home and the older folk were presented with Christmas potpourri posies as well as Christmas cards from St. Ninian’s
Our next meeting will be on Wednesday 10th January at the usual time of 2.30pm.
Meantime we wish you all a blessed and peaceful Christmas.
