Hello and Thank you

I wanted to begin this, my first post on the website, by taking this opportunity to thank you all for making David I and feel so welcomed and supported since our move. We are very much enjoying living here and I begin my ministry here with a thankful heart for all that your kindness and love. Thank you too for the wonderful licensing service and for making my family and guests so at home. It was a very special occasion and confirmed our sense of calling and anointing at the beginning of my ministry.
As we enter this season of Pentecost I am reminded of the need we all have to daily ask God for his Holy Spirit to be poured out on us to enable us to fulfil God’s calling on our lives. When we read of how the Day of Pentecost changed the uncertain and confused disciples into those who fearlessly spread the good news of the Gospel throughout the whole world then surely we can take heart that God will so equip and strengthen us to do the same if we but ask and open our hearts to receive.
‘So I say to you, Ask, and it will be given to you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you. 10For everyone who asks receives, and everyone who searches finds, and for everyone who knocks, the door will be opened. …..13If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!’ Luke 11 v 9ff
